After only the second year in operation, Cortijo El Carligto earned one of the most sought after honours in the travel industry: a nomination for the coveted Conde Nast Traveler Gold List. This recognition, for best rural hotel in Spain (hoteles fuera la ciudad), 2012, follows a string of accolades from many of the most prestigious titles in travel and news, including Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler and The Wall Street Journal.
